Pastoral & Finance Councils

The Gesu Finance Council "aids the Pastor in the administration of Parish goods...." (Canon 537)  It plans, recommends, and, with Parish Pastoral Council approval, implements actions on Parish financial support and the effective management and use of parish resources.

You may make a donation to Gesu Parish electronically, using our online giving website.  The site allows you to make a regular, ongoing contribution or a one-time only gift.

The Finance Council coordinates the annual archdiocesan Catholic Services Appeal (CSA).

The Gesu Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is a group of parishioners which "collaborates with the pastor to discern and articulate the mission/vision of the parish and to establish the pastoral priorities of the church."1  PPC "coordinates and assists the pastor in the implementation of the parish pastoral priorities."  Gesu PPC members may serve for one or two consecutive 3-year terms.  Currently, members are selected via invitation and discernment.  PPC generally meets on the fourth Thursday of the month excluding holidays and the month of July .  If you are discerning participation in the PPC, please contact the pastor or a current member.

Current members of the Gesu PPC are:
